Isaac Henkemeyer-Howe scored the lone goal in the first period and goals by Tim Piechowski and former Greenway standout Ben Troumbly made it 3-0 midway through the second period.
The Wilderness’ Gunnar Thoreson, Ethan Wolthers and Mikol Sartor all scored in a 4-minute, 32-second span to cut the deficit to 4-3 before Bismarck’s Quinn Rudrud and Jack Conroy secured the victory with third-period goals.
Winning goaltender Cameron Korpi made 33 saves, while Jacob Zachariewicz stopped 26 shots for Minnesota.
