Each month TJHP publishes updates of the NCAA Division I commitment data, with the goal of compiling the only set of data that memorializes where players are playing WHEN they make their commitment. The Junior Hockey Podcast Division 1 Commitment Data
There were 59 new NCAA Division I commitments in the past month, with a charge being led by the Canadian Junior A leagues. The British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) jump to third, ahead of the 16U/18U AAA level with nine new commitments, while the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) added seven commitments to jump ahead of the U.S. National Team Development Program (NTDP). The Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) added its first four commitments to make its debut on the list.
The North American Hockey League (NAHL) and USHL again had the most commits since our last update, with 11 each. The 16U-18U AAA vs. High School/Prep data is dead even with 57 for each level.
