Trimble’s Drill of the Week- Defenseman 1 – Timer Drill
Drill to be used in a small group, station or split ice.
- Pucks in the middle – Line behind the pucks
- Defenseman will pop out from the line and pass the puck back to the 2nd person in line.
- They will pop out to their forehand or 1-timer side only, rather than the opposite side
- After passing back to player 2, the 2nd player will give a flat 1-timer pass back to the shooter who will bring it to the net.
- Immediately after the shot the next person will go
- Simple, easy drill that works on a singular skill
