Trimble’s Drill of the Week- Zeibots 2 on 1
Groups on each half of the ice. Coaches with pucks in the corners.
- On Whistle, Defenseman shoots his puck from the point towards the net he is closest to.
- Next whistle, players activate towards the net in after triangle passing where each player touches the puck.
- 2 on 1 on nearest goal ensues.
- Then, Forward to the Right (and later the left) side of the goal breaks off and gets a pass from the coach in the corner and opposite forward posts up and the blueline.
- Defenseman gap up to the blueline, as a 2nd 2 v 1 begins with 1 player from the far end and the posted up forward.
- Play 2 v 1 to the whistle.
