Trimble’s Drill of the Week- BU 6 Line
Fun drill to get players moving and warmed up, and also increase communication with your team.
- 6 Lines with 6 pucks in each line
- Lines are at in zone faceoff dots and at opposite ends of the Red Line
- On whistle 1st 6 players are active. Head up, skating, moving with their puck.
- Find the open next player in a different line. Communicate, flat pass and go to the end of their line, as the person receiving the pass will begin to carry the received puck with their head up through the middle part of the ice.
- Keep drill going for about 4-5 minutes depending on the number of players participating
