Trimble’s Drill of the Week – High / Low Game
Great Small Area Game
- Play 3 v 3 with Nets facing same direction in 1 Zone
- 1 Net at the top of the circles, the other net in the crease. Teams outside the zone at the Neutral Zone faceoff dots.
- Coach (or coaches at hash marks)- Play starts on whistle from a loose puck behind the net.
- To be on offense, team has the get the puck and pass to coach. A change of possession (D to O/ O to D) occurs when puck is passed by your team to the coach or coaches.
- Teams can score on ANY net. So its a great drill for timing, finding space, communication and much more.
- As a defender, its great for finding your guys (Man on Man), stick positioning, and much more.
- Play to a certain number of goals or time duration.
- ENJOY!
