The Hockey Focus Welcomes New Partners Andrew Trimble and Trevor DiCarlo

The Hockey Focus is pleased to announce the addition of two new partners, Andrew Trimble and Trevor DiCarlo. Trimble and DiCarlo are both experienced hockey enthusiasts with a deep passion for the game. They both have an extensive hockey resume and are still deeply involved in the game. With their addition to the team, The Hockey Focus is poised to deliver even more news, knowledge, and opinions on the current state of hockey at all levels.

Andrew Trimble

Andrew Trimble is a hockey coach, trainer, and entrepreneur with a deep passion for the game. He is the Owner/Head Instructor of Scoring Concepts LLC, a New Hampshire-based hockey training business that offers camps, clinics, private training, and tournament teams throughout the eastern seaboard. Trimble is also the GM & EHLP/ U16 Head Coach of the New England Wolves in the Eastern Hockey League.

Trimble has over a decade of experience coaching hockey at all levels, from youth to junior to high school. He has a proven track record of success, having led his teams to numerous championships and awards. In 2018-19, he was awarded the Eastern Hockey League Premier’s “Coach of the Year” Honors.

Trimble is also a strong advocate for community involvement and activism. Under his leadership, the Wolves have implemented numerous community service initiatives in the Lakes Region of NH. They have been recognized for their efforts with two EHL Humanitarians of the year awards (2018 & 2019), two “Spirit of NH” awards (Fall of 2018 & 2022), and two EHL Community Service Awards (2021-22 & 2022-23).

In addition to his coaching and training work, Trimble is also the author of the instructional DVD “Home School Hockey,” which teaches players of all ages how to effectively use off-ice drills to develop their on-ice skills.

Trimble is a valuable asset to the hockey community, and his contributions to the sport are numerous and significant. He is a role model for coaches and players alike, and his passion for the game is infectious.

Trevor DiCarlo

Trevor “TDC” DiCarlo is currently a hockey coach based out of Chicago, Illinois.  He has been apart of numerous levels of hockey (learn to skate through college) with past experiences as a Youth Travel Director, Skills Coach and Regional Scout.

Trevor is also co-host of The Hockey Toolkit with Andrew Trimble and writer for The Hockey Focus.  

Trevor enjoys writing about all things hockey, but enjoys learning about the game as well.  He takes pride in trying to better himself as a coach, but also a human.  If he’s not writing or working on a podcast he’s probably playing his guitar, reading a book or spending time with family and friends.

In the coming months, The Hockey Focus plans to ramp up content production, including launching new shows, podcasts, and articles. Trimble and DiCarlo will also be working closely with the existing team to develop new and innovative ways to cover the game.
