With junior hockey on its winter break, there isn’t much news to report other than that of the World Junior Championships. There is however one tabloid that may be of interest in regards to the NAHL.
The NAHL announced that it will extend its regular season date to May 16 for teams to complete their regular season schedule. This allows for more flexible schedules due to COVID. Several games were postponed for the Maine Nordiques, Maryland Black Bears, and Northeast Generals, and this extension will help them play the games they missed. The opening round of the NAHL playoffs is scheduled to begin May 20 and go through the 30.
