We discuss Colby’s playing career and how he ended up playing NCAA Division 1 Ice Hockey at Niagara University and then ultimately finishing out his College Career at the University of New England. We dove into a ton of questions with how his success in his personal playing career transcended into his role as being a scout and recruiter for programs like the Skipjacks Hockey Club in the USPHL, NCAA DIII Skidmore College, and then have the title of Director of Scouting in the USHL for the Dubuque Fighting Saints. Colby has a great resume when it comes to hockey, so this episode is packed full of information that could really help any player/parent understand the world of Junior Hockey that much more! Given that Colby owns his own advising company, Paragon Sports Consulting, we discussed the role of an advisor and if they are actually needed in Junior Hockey.
