Trimble’s Drill of the Week- Angle 1 v1
- Two lines in the center ice circle of neutral zone, facing opposite directions.
- On whistle first player in each line leaves without a puck and accelerates in an S pattern around the neutral zone dots.
- As player approaches red line for the 2nd time, 2nd player in line passes the puck to player and enters the play.
- Focus on skating forwards, no skating backwards and angling the puck carrier to the outside with stick on puck, and good body positioning, matching the puck carriers speed.
- 1 v1 to the net.
- Play with speed and tempo and finish plays. Have Fun! Watch video to see drill in action.
