Trimble’s Drill of the Week
Transition Game
Can be played 3 on 3 or 2 v2 in the Neutral Zone with 2 Coaches (or players)
On whistle puck comes out from coach and players compete to gain possession of it.
If the puck goes out of the zone, coach on that end passes a new puck to an open player on his team only.
Players need to anticipate transition and change of possession quickly and get open to make a play on the opposing goal.
Its a great game to finish a practice or even start a practice. Make it accountable and competitive.
